Chapter: A Woman Doing Istikharah If She Receives A Proposal Of Marriage
It was narrated that Anas said:
"When the 'Iddah of Zainab was over, the Messenger of Allah said to Zaid: 'Propose marriage to her on my behalf.' Zaid went and said: 'O Zainab, rejoice, for the Messenger of Allah has sent me to you to propose marriage on his behalf.' She said: 'I will not do anything until I consult my Lord.' She went to her prayer place and Qur'an was revealed, then the Messenger of Allah came and entered upon her without any formalities." - Sahih:An Nasai:3251 (islam)
Chapter: Recommendation to the one who sees a woman and is attracted to her, to go to his wife or slave woman and have intercourse with her
Jabir reported that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) saw a woman, and so he came to his wife, Zainab, as she was tanning a leather and had sexual intercourse with her. He then went to his Companions and told them:
The woman advances and retires in the shape of a devil, so when one of you sees a woman, he should come to his wife, for that will repel what he feels in his heart. - Sahih:Muslim:1403a (islam)
-Why going to have sex with your wife repel what feels in your heart?
- If You had sexual arousal with another woman, aren't you a fornicator (Abu Dawud 2153)?
Chapter: What has been related about a man who sees a woman and becomes fascinated with her
Jabir (bin Abdullah) narrated:
“The Prophet saw a woman, then he went to Zainab to fulfill his need and he left. He said: ‘Indeed when the woman enters, she enters in the image of Shaitan. So when one of you sees a woman that he is fascinated with, then let him go to his wife, for indeed with her (his wife) is the same as that which is with her.” - Sahih:Tirmidhi:1158 (islam)
-What is the punishment for fornication?
- If you are not a fornicator if you had sex with your wife, what about the woman who inspired you is she still a fornicator?
Chapter: A bigger Walima on marrying some wives than the other wives
Narrated Thabit:
The marriage of Zainab bint Jahash was mentioned in the presence of Anas and he said, "I did not see the Prophet (ﷺ) giving a better banquet on marrying any of his wives than the one he gave on marrying Zainab. He then gave a banquet with one sheep." - Sahih:Al Bukhari:5171 (islam)
-Only one sheep?
- For a prophet is it a little bit short?
- Why do we have a drastic difference in translation when we go on the Arabic?
- Can we trust any translation, can you be a Muslim if you don't understand Arabic?
- Wasn't she her daughter in law?
Chapter: Al-Walima is to be given even with one sheep
Narrated Anas:
The Prophet (ﷺ) did not give a better wedding banquet on the occasion of marrying any of his wives than the one he gave on marrying Zainab, and that banquet was with (consisted of) one sheep. - Sahih:Al Bukhari:5168 (islam)
Chapter: The Marriage of Zainab Bint Jahsh, The Revelation of (the verse of) Hijab, and confirmation of the importance of the wedding feast.
Anas b. Malik (Allah be pleased with him) reported:
Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) gave no better wedding feast than the one he did (on the occasion of his marriage with) Zainab. Thabit al-Bunani (one of the narrators) said: What did he serve in the wedding feast? He (Anas) said: He fed them bread and meat (so lavishly) that they (the guests) abandoned it (of their own accord after having taken them to their hearts' content). - Sahih:Muslim:1428d (islam)
Chapter: “…And His Throne was on the water…”
Narrated Anas:
Zaid bin Haritha came to the Prophet (ﷺ) complaining about his wife. The Prophet (ﷺ) kept on saying (to him), "Be afraid of Allah and keep your wife." Aisha said, "If Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) were to conceal anything (of the Qur'an he would have concealed this Verse." Zainab used to boast before the wives of the Prophet (ﷺ) and used to say, "You were given in marriage by your families, while I was married (to the Prophet) by Allah from over seven Heavens." And Thabit recited, "The Verse:-- 'But (O Muhammad) you did hide in your heart that which Allah was about to make manifest, you did fear the people,' (33.37) was revealed in connection with Zainab and Zaid bin Haritha." - Sahih:Al Bukhari:7420 (islam)
-Is this story the reason why adoption became forbidden?
- Or is it a way for Allah to reinforce the interdiction of adoption?
- Is it a bit much convenient for Mohamed?
Narrated Anas bin Malik:
When Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) married Zainab bint Jahsh, he invited the people to a meal. They took the meal and remained sitting and talking. Then the Prophet (showed them) as if he is ready to get up, yet they did not get up. When he noticed that (there was no response to his movement), he got up, and the others too, got up except three persons who kept on sitting. The Prophet (ﷺ) came back in order to enter his house, but he went away again. Then they left, whereupon I set out and went to the Prophet (ﷺ) to tell him that they had departed, so he came and entered his house. I wanted to enter along with him, but he put a screen between me and him. Then Allah revealed: 'O you who believe! Do not enter the houses of the Prophet...' (33.53) - Sahih:Al Bukhari:4791 (islam)
O you who have believed, do not enter the houses of the Prophet except when you are permitted for a meal, without awaiting its readiness. But when you are invited, then enter; and when you have eaten, disperse without seeking to remain for conversation. Indeed, that [behavior] was troubling the Prophet, and he is shy of [dismissing] you. But Allah is not shy of the truth. And when you ask [his wives] for something, ask them from behind a partition. That is purer for your hearts and their hearts. And it is not [conceivable or lawful] for you to harm the Messenger of Allah or to marry his wives after him, ever. Indeed, that would be in the sight of Allah an enormity. - Quran:Al-Ahzab 33:53 (islam)
-Is Allah Mohamed's Puppet?
- Is Allah really into Mohamed?
- Instead of setting rules for his Saabah, why Mohamed felt the need to involve an omnipotent God into his affairs?
